She jumped into trading in 2011 and joined the Schwab Coaching team in 2016. What really gets her going is coaching and teaching—she's all about helping people take control of their financial future. Her specialties are technical analysis, trend trading, and options, and she's super skilled at making these topics accessible to new investors. Barbara is licensed with the Series 3, 7, and 63 industry certifications.
Scott Durfey

Scott Durfey has been with the Education team since 2005. He is an Instructor and a featured presenter at various trade shows and educational workshops. Scott is passionate about promoting financial literacy to young people. Scott’s other passions include training horses and snow skiing. Scott holds the Series 7, Series 63, and Series 3 industry licenses.

Joe Mazzola

Joe Mazzola is Schwab’s Head Trading & Derivatives Strategist. He is a former portfolio manager, options risk manager, and market maker for the Chicago Board Options Exchange and International Securities Exchange, with nearly 25 years of investment management experience assisting institutional and retail clients. Most recently as a portfolio manager at Shelton Capital, Joe co-managed client assets with option overlay strategies to take advantage of market volatility, manage risk, and optimize returns.
